Imtiaz Ali's next stars Ranbir and Deepika?

If reports are to be believed, then we could end up seeing ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in two movies rather than one!
Apparently, Imtiaz Ali is keen to take his partnership with Ranbir Kapoor a step further after the success of Rockstar. And as well know, Deepik Padukone has always been a favourite with the director after Love Aaj Kal. Imtiaz Ali also wrote the script and story for Deepika's last outing Cocktail!

Here's to hoping that this goes ahead as planned and we get to see the two in another movie after Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani whch hits the theatres on May 31st next year.

Remake of "Silsila"?

Rumours are doing the round that Yash Raj Films are planning to remake their 1981 blockbuster film "Silsila"  that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and Jaya Bachchan next year. And going by the pieces of information flying around, it seems that the studio is keen on casting Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika and Katrina in the respective roles. Since Deepika and Ranbir were dating at a point of time before the Kapoor scion switched his affections to Katrina Kaif, the production house feels that the chemistry between the three will draw huge crowds to the theatre. Well, nevertheless the way the movie turns out when and if it's made, it will surely be interesting to see Deepika and Katrina share screen space together for the first time.
